Wood Samples These butterfly-matched backs are currently in the workshop.  The wood has not yet been joined or cut to shape.  The outline is created by a template that approximates the shape of a custom-made flamenco guitar.  The surface of the wood has been roughly sanded and has no finish.  The actual colors may differ slightly from those seen here due to the differences in computer display settings.  Some of the woods have been "reserved" and have been marked accordingly.
